1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Co-Op, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

2. Use of Service

For Buyers

• You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You agree to provide accurate payment information
• Pledges can be cancelled before payment processing
• Once payment is processed, cancellations are subject to farmer approval

For Farmers/Producers

• You must accurately represent your products and business
• You agree to fulfill orders once co-ops are confirmed
• You are responsible for food safety and compliance with local regulations
• You accept the 5% platform fee on all transactions

3. Payment Terms

• Buyers are only charged when co-ops reach their minimum threshold
• Payment methods are pre-authorized 7 days before deadline
• Co-Op uses Stripe for secure payment processing
• Farmers receive 95% of order totals (5% platform fee)
• Payouts are processed within 2-3 business days after order completion

4. Cancellation & Refunds

• Buyers can cancel pledges before payment processing, unless otherwise indicated
• Refunds after payment require farmer approval
• Farmers can cancel listings before deadline
• Farmers may accept partial fulfillment for co-ops that don't reach minimums

5. User Content

You retain rights to content you post. By posting, you grant Co-Op a license to use, display, and distribute your content on the platform.

6. Prohibited Activities

• Fraud or misrepresentation
• Harassment or abuse of other users
• Violation of local food safety regulations
• Attempting to bypass payment systems
• Listing or requesting prohibited items including but not limited to: alcoholic beverages, cannabis products, tobacco, prescription medications, supplements, weapons, or any illegal substances
• Creating fake accounts or manipulating the voting/wishlist system
• Posting inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content

7. Content Moderation & Wishlist Guidelines

The Community Wishlist feature is designed for requesting legal farm products, crafts, and similar goods. All wishlist submissions are subject to content review.

• Items may be flagged by community members and reviewed by admins
• Prohibited product requests will be removed immediately
• Repeat violations may result in account suspension
• False or malicious reporting of content may result in penalties

8. Limitation of Liability

Co-Op acts as a platform connecting buyers and farmers. We are not responsible for product quality, delivery, or disputes between parties. All transactions are between buyers and farmers directly.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
